Asiana airlines allows passengers to cancel their reservations. If you want to cancel your tickets with Asiana airlines then you should know their cancellation policy.


 

Passengers can cancel their tickets and request for refund as well. However the cancellation and refund rules may vary depending on the place of ticket purchase.

The refund for a cancelled ticket will also apply on the fare rules.

If a passenger wants to request a refund for domestic flights then they can do it before the expiry date of the ticket.

To request a refund for international flight, the time limit is 30 days after the expiry date of the ticket.

To request for refund, the ticket holder needs to apply in person.

Request for refund can also be made through a legal representative but in that case certain additional documents need to be submitted.

If an international flight ticket which departed from Korea is left unused then, an additional refund penalty may apply based on the time of refund request.

If a ticket was purchased through cash then the refund will be returned in the ticket holder’s account.

For tickets purchased through credit card refund cannot be given in cash. Refund will be given in credit card and the time for refunds to process will depend on the date of payment and processing cycle of Card Company.

To know about the time, passenger can contact the credit card company after 2 - 5 business days after their refund is approved.

If a passenger do not cancel their ticket up till the departure time or fail to board the flight after they check-in then they will have to pay a no-show penalty.
